COVID 19 Update
May 11th, 2020
Dear Patients of our Practice,
We hope that you, and all of your friends, and family are well. We are grateful to see the success from everyone working together in British Columbia to flatten the COVID curve. After reviewing all the latest information from the WHO, CDC and our Health Authority, we are happy to see the planned increase in surgical access and to be a part of the return of service in B.C..
Thank you again to everyone for your understanding during this time of change. With the upcoming increase in access to care, we have created a plan to help support you, with everyone’s health and safety taking priority.
As some of the limitations are becoming less restrictive, it is still important to recognize we need to continue physical distancing as much as possible. You will notice some changes in the office to help facilitate this. In addition, we have a protocol from the BC Center of Disease Control for patients coming to our office and those going on to surgery. This will include a pre-assessment questionnaire with the focus to keep you, and all of our patients safe as a group.
Please let us know how we can help you as you start to make plans during this reopening phase. Our staff will be personally addressing all calls, e-mails and office inquiries. We will be reaching out directly to those that had appointments, procedures, and surgeries cancelled, and will look to try and meet your wishes for new booking times as best as possible. In-office consults and follow-ups will now be possible. In addition, we are still available for phone and virtual visits.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions during this time. Thank you to everyone for your understanding and commitment to this important time in our lives. We are all in this together.
Best to wishes everyone, and to your friends, family and loved ones.
