COVID 19 Update

Dear patients of our practice,
We hope that you, and all of your friends and family are well. We are grateful to see the success from everyone in British Columbia to help process through the pandemic together. After reviewing the latest information from the WHO, CDC and our Health Authority, our surgery and office policies have changed to reflect the best practice guidelines for your ongoing safety.
In line with the vaccine passport rollout in BC, starting September 13th, 2021, surgical patients will be required to show a record of 1 dose of vaccination before surgery, and proof of double vaccination by October 24th, 2021. In the absence of this, patients will need to provide a negative PCR test within 72 hours of surgery. This will be similar for patients coming to the office for consultation and follow-up visits. The office will continue with a pre-assessment questionnaire with the focus to keep you, and all of our patients safe as a group.
We have created this plan to help support you, with everyone’s health and safety taking priority. Please let us know how we can help during this time. Our staff will be personally addressing all calls, e-mails and office inquiries. Phone and virtual visits can be utilized for convenience and efficiency with your care.
